The Gorey Pipe Band wears the 'Modern MacKenzie' Tartan. The band decided to change their tartan in the late seventies. Before wearing the MacKenzie tartan the Band wore the 'Royal Stewart' Tartan.
Green for forest and fields, Blue of the sky and free sea,
drawn through with White for purity and Red for blood and bold fighters.
